Informational Materials Request Form

The following Philadelphia Regional Port Authority informational materials are available.  Please check off which materials you would like, then complete the information below to request these items.

     

1) Philadelphia Regional Port Authority Corporate Brochure - photos and data on our marine terminals and the key products we handle.

     

2) Port Services Directory - listing of over 600 companies that work in and around the Port district, including steamship lines, freight forwarders, trucking companies, etc.

     

3) Interactive CD-Rom - provides video, photos, 3-D images, and data on our marine terminals, port services, and inland infrastructure. Just put it in your computer and it starts right up.

     

4) Carrier Services List - schedule of all the steamship line services that call on the Port of Philadelphia, including foreign ports of call, agents, sailing frequency, and type of ship. (this information is also available on this web site at www.philaport.com/marketing/carrier.htm

     

5) Pennsylvania Export Initiative - an incentive program for Pennsylvania manufacturers to use the Port of Philadelphia. This program is easy to use, and the check goes directly to the manufacturer. Applicable for shippers using the PUBLIC marine terminals in Pennsylvania only. Available to EXPORTERS of Pennsylvania goods only.

     

6) Intermodal Incentive Program - an incentive for steamship lines to move rail intermodal containers via the Port of Philadelphia. Available only to steamship lines calling on the Port of Philadelphia. The Port of Philadelphia is served by three Class 1 Railroads: CP Rail, CSX, and Norfolk Southern. 

     

7) Overweight Container Programs:

special permits for heavy international ocean containers. This program allows up to 90,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight. Limits apply; please see www.philaport.com/marketing/portservices/ portprograms.htm for more information.

     

special permits for refrigerated meat in international ocean containers. This program allows up to 107,500 lbs. gross vehicle weight. Limits apply; please see www.philaport.com/marketing/portservices/

8) Pennsylvania Economic Incentive Programs - a summary of several different Commonwealth of Pennsylvania economic development initiatives. We want to help retailers, steamship lines, manufacturers, and shippers use the Port of Philadelphia and expand in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to link PA business to the Port of Philadelphia, and these programs can help.

     

9)  Port Watch - our Port newsletter. A quarterly publication of the PRPA.
